A group of IIM Calcutta & XLRI alumni along with the Top Executives of Telecom industry found ISTTM to provide the students with the high quality education of IIMs and hands on industry experience while studying.
This model is called III (ISTTM Industry Integration). It would enable the students to apply the knowledge & skill set acquired through their class room sessions right away in the Telecom industry. It would also provide quick ROI on MBA as the student would “earn while he learn”.
The requirement of MBA graduates in Telecom Industry (India alone) is more than 9000 per annum and India is producing less than 300 exclusive Telecom MBA graduates per annum, which is < 3.5%. We are here to bridge this gap and provide the students with the necessary knowledge and skill set required to fit into these roles.
We provide 200% placements to our TelecomMBA+ PGPTM students.
(2 job offers to each student & International Placements for top 10% students of the batch)
(1 month international internship + 1 month National industry visits)
(Dual Degree: UGC recognized MBA degree + PGPTM from ISTTM)
We have another key department called CCC (Campus Corporate Connection), This group is focused on pursuing partnerships with leading and emerging companies and ensure that the student would get placed in the right profile and ideal job during their internship and final placements.
We have Only 36 seats per batch and students with right attitude are given more preference than top mark sheets.
These 36 students are divided into 6 teams and each team will have 1 mentor from ISTTM (IIM Calcutta/ XLRI Alumni) and 1 mentor from Telecom Industry.
Pedagogy: Each team would operate just like a separate franchise owned by 2 dedicated mentors. Every team would compete with rest of the 5 throughout the course duration and the best students across the teams would be provided with International placements/ Higher packages and each one would get at least 2 job offers.
