Extreme Time Management
Today's post is from guest blogger and PhD student Sara Batts. She shares her tips on time management in the first of two posts: Like many others, I'm a part-time student. I also work full-time. I live over 100 miles from my University. My research is not related to the work I do in my day job, so no study leave or fees paid. I think that would be pretty much everything on the ticklist of things to avoid a when undertaking a PhD. But I didn't want to wait until that elusive point where I could go full-time (although the OAP bus pass I’d have qualified for might have been useful). So here I am with a full life (did I mention I also sit on four library-related committees?) to which I added a PhD. I have just finished my third year. I aim to put 14 hours a week in on the PhD.
